What problems can be caused by this part?

Car feels like it's bouncing after going over a speed bump

After driving over speed bumps or changes in road surfaces the car doesn't settle back to normal as quickly as it should. The car feels like it's carrying on bouncing long after the car has driven over the obstacle.

Fluid leaking near to wheels

There is a slight misting of fluid on the suspension components near to the wheel / wheel hub. The fluid looks more concentrated around the suspension strut / damper.

After going over bumps the tyres lose traction / contact

The car becomes unstable after driving over speed bumps or other changes in road height/surface. The problem is much worse when going over bumps around corners, the car feels as though it's going to spin and lose control.

Car feels like it rolls too much through corners

When going around corners the car feels like it drifts out more than it should, it doesn't follow the expect line through the corner and the car seems more unstable than it did.
