Pollen Filter

What is a Pollen Filter?
A pollen filter is a 'does what it says on the tin' part. It basically sits between the air that gets fed into the car's intakes and the passenger cabin, filtering out pollen and other particles that you don't really want in the car.

Pollen filters need replacing in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations to keep the system functioning at the optimum levels to ensure that the air in the car stays as clean as possible.
What problems can be caused by this part?

Heater not working

The heater does not come on at all, the controls make no difference, there is no sound or hot air coming from the heater.

Low air flow from air conditioning vents

The air conditioning vents are not providing the same volume of air flow as they once did, the levels seem low even when the controls are adjusted to increase it.
