Motor Mania M O T & Service Centre

I bought a CR-V from Motormania Manchester two years ago (almost to the day) - I've just been back to get the car MOT’d. Although I was really wary of the place because of some apparent bad reviews, I should never have let these preconceptions spoil my car buying experience with them. In the event, the guys sold me a car (of the type I needed) that had just come in and hadn't been checked or valeted. They discovered and repaired some major faults with the vehicle (listed on the MOT record) at their own cost. They gave me an assurance that they would repair any other issue that arose within the first year. A few months later, I did have concerns and returned the vehicle for inspection; I am a retired mechanic and savvy. They had it for 10 days. I didn't hassle them and they got on with the work. When it was returned, they explained that they had had difficulty pinpointing the exact fault. During it's stay with them they changed several parts - some associated with the fault, but others (like a brake disc) that they just changed "while we were working on that wheel". There was no charge for any of this work. Throughout that time, and to this day, the guys at Motormania have been a pleasure to know. They have a great sense of humour and they are fair and honest. I fully recommend them. They have not solicited this review from me, except by their professionalism and good nature.

really bad experience with these guys. Told it would be simple repair. They took the parts off so the car was stuck there. Then kept getting calls from a bloke with bad attitude who I couldn't understand he talked so fast. Kept telling obvious lies. Got car back a week later at twice the cost originally quoted.Car had oil all over the carpets too
