TRP helped me out of a fix when my starter motor failed on a bank holiday. Terry and team were simply the most helpful, providing a loan car while they sourced and fixed the car. Along the way they listened to a saga of issues I had had 3 other garages look at and were the most realistic and constructive about going about solving it.
Overall their hourly rate was fair at £40 and the time they spent on the car was rounded down to meet what they had suggested it might take when we discussed it. Can't say fairer than that. I will try to go out of my way to have my Saab worked on here again.

Have always had excellent service from TRP in stark contrast to other local Saab specialists, including a main dealer. Full service cost me £280 and they're always very accomodating if you have a short-notice issue. Terry really knows his stuff with years of experience working on Saabs. Will definately use for the foreseeable future.

This garage charged me £307 for a basic service. Had I known I would have gone elsewhere. I asked twice for a quote beforehand only to be fobbed off with "we dont know exactly what we will need to do". I pointed out it was likely to be very little has the car had had a 141 point check from the dealer I bought it off two weeks before and had a full service history. It was a minimum service and was carried out by the apprentice. I asked again for the price when they called to say it was ready to be told, " the boss is making it up now". I expected it to be in the range of other local garages and having phoned around this should have been £100 to £170. I spoke to a number of other mechanics none of whom could believe what I had been charged. Incidently this is not a dealership, it is a small place on an industrial estate. They were only working on one Saab which was 20 year old and the other cars where equally old and rusty which was why I was so surprised by the price which was almost twice the quote from Vospers. I didnt take it to Vospers because they didnt have a filter in stock. Beware!
