I’ve known buggy’s a lot of years now ; worked on all my Volvos very highly skilled on Volvos , Tina and Steve don not rip people off and are very nice people! Best garage ever !

Bad:hard to get on the phone. Good:Everything else.Lovely guy,very knowledgeable,meticulous,respected locally for being honest and hard working.Never ripped us off,or failed to correctly diagnose a fault.Always happy with service,without doubt the best value for money and honest garage I've ever come across.No hesitation in recommending him!Thanks

I have used Bugsy for over 10 years now and cannot fault the service.. in agreement with others I would have given a full 10 stars if they answered the phone more frequently! I find them extremely helpful, flexible and great value - if that means i have to call in personally to book a service i dont mind at all.

Have given a rating of 9 only because he can be hard to get hold of!!! I have used him for 3 years now & his work is exemplary. He & Tina work very hard & his charges are very good. I have a Volvo S40 '56 & he was recommended to me because of his Volvo knowledge. I have just had to have a clutch kit fitted & dread to think what I would've spent if I'd gone to the Volvo dealer I bought the car from. I reckon Bugsy was a third (or better) of the price...very pleased with his efforts & highly recommended.

Friendly staff, great work and good value. Answering the phone isn't their strong point (they're always under a car ;-) but they are always reliable - best to drop in to book work/services etc. After being let down by poor service at several other local garages, I now always use Bugsy's.

I have used Bugsy for the last 4 years, such a busy man indeed, you may have to book in advance but he will always do a great job, I have never had such cheap repair bills, he and his wife are lovely people, I did have to be towed to them a few weeks ago and he soon got me back on the road, thank god, I have nothing but praise for such a hard working man with a very nice wife.

I have used the garage for repairs to my Volvo s60 since last year. I also have had trouble getting hold of him over the telephone but understand he is very busy! Hence theres around a 2 week wait for an appointment. I have found bugsy very good to deal with in every other way. The quality of work is good and he knows volvos inside out. I also have found the garage very honest and he won't go changing parts that are still in good working order just to bump up the bill. I would recommend this garage if you need an honest garage to carry out work on your car.

I have known Bugsy for a long time now and used to work with him. He is always very fair and the work is spot on. To the moaners here that say that it takes too long to get their cars back or they can't get him on the phone, just think why? He works for himself, he is very busy and if he kept running to answer the phone the work would not get done. Cut the guy some slack, if you don't work for yourself you will have no idea.

I have used Bugsy's many times. I find the people extremely friendly, the work has always been spot on and he always takes time out to explain exactly what any problem was with my car and keeps the broken part to show me! I have never felt that he has ripped me off in a quotation, in fact he is very competitive.
My only negative would be in that the phone can sometimes ring for ages without reply.
In answer to the people who complain that you don't get your car back for ages I have this to say, just consider WHY ? In my opinion it is because he is ALWAYS busy. This is a positive for me as it shows the trust that people have in him and that he has many regular customers such as myself. I am fed up with garages ripping me off, talking to me like i'm thick and not really offering anything more for my money.
In conclusion. I am happy to have to wait a while to book my car in as I know that he will honour my appointment and ultimately do a good job at a fair price. Problem is people phone up expecting same day service. If you want that go to quick-fit, get ripped off and a salesman trying to offer you some bloody 'discount' card. Rant over :)

My car has been with Bugsy's for three days for a 1/2 a day job. They NEVER answer their phone, bad customer service.
I will not be using them again (when i finally get my car back)

I have been calling them today since 13:35 about 5 times now. There is no answer on the phone. It just rings and rings.
