Nice guys always looked after me and my family they never charge us for bulbs wipers ect. Also they checked over my car before I went on holiday in it and didn't charge me anything A+ service

I am a regular customer and cannot fault any staff at Regency Car Centre. Just today picked my car up from having a service, myself and my family have used this garage for many years and would recommend it highly. Their prices have not changed for some years and my price came in as quoted, once again a good experience with a local garage. Thanks!

This garage could be more honest about its service prices. My MOT and service cost twice what I was quoted because things I expected to be included - eg, oil, filter, engine flush, etc - were charged as extras. When I tried to negotiate on the price, the owner refused and locked me in reception and called the police, accusing me of attempted theft.

Cannot fault Regency for their honest approach for car repairs and advice. All the family cars go there now and we have NEVER been ripped off. What a joy to find good service (with a smile) and honesty in this day and age.

Have used regularly for MOT's on daughters old bangers.
Straight talking and honest - won't replace a whole set of tyres if only one is needed!

Most HONEST garage I have ever used.

have been going here for MOTs and odd repairs for about 10yrs now.

Always busy but they always manage to fit you in somehow and will often look over the car without charging and give advice.

Truely wonderful men. I phoned up for advise, they said I should pop it down for them to check. On seeing my car, they confirmed it was exactly what he had thought it to be. Got my part in for me and fitted the next day.. Brilliant!! Am getting my cam belt sorted this month and will now only ever use them in the future.

I have used Regency several times for last minute MOTs, they have always been friendly and helpful and have never come up with unneccerasy work to be done - one time they changed a bulb for no extra charge so my car would pass. They also recommended good value reliable places to get bodywork etc done.

Just wanted to recommend this garage. Have an old car and do a lot of mileage so have had a few problems over the last couple of years. The guys at Regency are so helpful and honest. I have not got the first clue about cars so it would be very easy for them to charge me for things that do not need doing but they are quite happy to check your car over for you without charging or the need to book it in. They have even done some minor repairs for me without charging. I would not take my car anywhere else.

Regency Car Centre was recommended to me by a friend & I wasn't disappointed. They were friendly & more importantly kept me informed about what they were doing. They were happy to give advice even if it meant they weren't going to earn any extra from it. The only downside is that they don't accept any cards - cash or cheque only. Having said that, they let me take my car away as I hadn't got a chequebook with me & trusted me to return the next day! Highly recommended.

After hearing I could now take my new car to an Independant garage and not invalidate my warranty, I gave Regency a try! I was very nervous and sceptical at first but the guys here were great. Nice reception room and garage very nicely presented. The savings I made were incredible and the service was completed with no problems. I treated my wife to a meal out on the money I saved. After reading the positive posts on this garage, I thought I would give them a try. It's no wonder this garage is always busy!! Very helpful and 100% honest. Very good pricing and no bull. After having used many garages over the years, these guys are like a breah of fresh air. Highly recommended !!

I have used this garage quite a few times and have found them to be very honest and very helpful. They are always willing to have a quick look for you, not like some garages who dont really want to know and will make you book car in to be looked at. There has been a few occasions where this garage could quite easily have quoted me a price for something that didnt need doing (I would have been oblivious) but they dont turn away any job..even if its something cheap for them. Very good garage to use.

I completely agree with the previous post. I'm lucky cos they're just over the road from me. Of course sometimes things have cost me more than I would have wanted, but then my car is knocking on a bit! I would definitely recommmend them.

This is a great independent garage. Found them through a recommendation from a friend. They are knowledgeable, friendly and polite and above all else their servicing and maintenance work is very reasonably priced, they also do MOT's. I've used main dealers and independents in the past. They can do full diagnostics of problems with modern cars, they also deal with 18 year old cars like mine and their associated problems. It's rare to find a garage you can really trust and their work is always great, I've never had to take my car back to have something adjusted after they have worked on it. I can just drive away and know the car will work as intended.

So I'm writing this review because I think it's worth noting businesses that are really good at what they do and Regency are just that.
