I went for my MOT today on my old rover the MOT guy came to me and pointed out two tyres and a number plate bulb I soht off got two tyres (witch neaded doing badly) went back for my retest and the guy put me a bulb in the number plate with no charg, £47.00 for A honest MOT I will be going back wiht my sons car soon WELL WERTH IT

I have just read the post on this site.As the director of this company I am really struggling to accept the comments. We have been here for over 10 years now and have never been accused of such things. We are a family business with an extremely good reputation. Our customers return year after year. I can only think that this comment has been made for a reason unknown to myself. If it is a true feeling from someone out there, we would really like to chat about the situation and resolve the issues.

In our hunt for a reliable trustworthy local garage we tried Springfield for some work on our car recently. We were happy enough with the price and the work at the time. We were however incredibly surprised when we took our car for its MOT and they failed it on the very work they had apparently done!
Not only that but a list of futher problems was given although they had given it a through check just weeks previously (or at least we had PAID for a through check!!)
After replacing a bulb and a tyre we took the car to be MOT'd at another garage where it sailed through. It might also be worth knowing that an MOt at springfield is £47. We Paid £40 at the other garage and they even threw in polite service!
