I had booked my bike in to have an alarm fitted with over a weeks notice, they had the make and model of my bike and even read the alarm specs to me over the phone. Dropped it off at 9am as requested to be told we will ring when its done.it was Thursday at 4pm and I hadn't had a call, knowing they don't open on a Friday or a Monday (great business hours!!) i walked back to see if it was nearly done to be told... "we haven't done it cos we haven't got an alarm in stock" had one last week but sold it!! we can do it next week. I asked why they took my bike in and left me to walk to work and back, kept my bike all day without phoning me and heads went down and got on with what they were doing and ignored me.

Told them not to bother, if that's how they deal with people, i wouldn't trust them with my machinery.

always recieve excellent service especially as my wing is over 30 years old just had new rear tyre + brake pads fitted good price and good service.

Excellent value and service. Owners will always give honest advice. Run by a genuine pair of motorcycle enthusiasts who employ an excellent mechanic, Downey is the best all-round MC firm in the city.

Roger has been servicing my Ducati Monster since 2000 and the service and value for money are always excellent. Even the desmodronic value set which main dealers try and tell you only they can service. Worth trying to support these small traders for MOTs etc or there won't be any left in a few years.

Run by Roger and Sarah am a regular user of their workshop and my bikes from a YZF 750 R,Suzuki GSX 600 and now my TT 600 and have always got me out of trouble and kept the wheels turning.:)
