Dentons Garage

I will not use another 'vw authorised' garage now that I've tried Dentons (they work on most auto makes). These gentlemen (and they are that) were polite, to the point and explained within a few minutes the issues of an indicator bulb that appeared to have a short in the system and a rear screen washer problem. I was charged a total of 16.16 for 1/4 hr work on indicator bulb fitting (clearing oxidation?) and nothing for washer fluid hose which was temporarily fixed at no charge with new part ordered which will take about a 1/4 hr to install. They charge 50 pound per hr but more relevantly the job is done honestly and quickly. I trust these people. This is no rant as each of us knows the value of finding a dependable service and for it to be a pleasant experience as well makes it as rare as chicken teeth. The 'authorized' dealership was going to charge 70 pounds to open the hood to diagnose the problem after which they would offer a quote. I can't overemphasise that this is an honest account of my experience which began at 9:30 this morning and I am now back home entering these thoughts at 11:04 ... which includes 35-40 min travel return.
