Northwood Hills Service Station

My car recently was undriveable and when I popped in to ask for advice the mechanic asked me to leave my keys and when they got a chance they would look at the car. They were true to their word and did so and organised the repairs very quickly so the car was back on the road in no time. The price was good, and they are the nicest and honest hard working people you could wish to meet. I have used them for years and will carry on using them as I doubt I'd find a better bunch of mechanics anywhere.

Recently had a car MOT'd here. Failed due to leaking fuel filter. Paid to have this fixed it and passed on free retest

They were fabulous when I needed them, gave me a lift home too and sorted out all my problems reasonably, would certainly recommend. Especially for tyres and MOTS

These guys are friendly, helpful, thorough, reliable, and cost-effective. They never carry out work without asking first and do some cracking deals when I have had servicing and MOTs carried out at the same time. Also they beat Fast-Fit prices on tyres and batteries.

Most recently, I had my car serviced and MOT's at a Ford dealer, only because I had to under the terms of the warranty. The Ford garage put 3 items on the MOT certificate as advisories, but before I agreed to having the work done I took the car to Northwood Hills Service Station to see what they would quote for the work. They actually said that none of the advisory items were justified, that there was nothing wrong with my car and that the Ford garage was simply trying to drum up business. But it shows you can trust the guys at Northwood Hills not to carry out extra work just to inflate the bill.

Just got my car back from these guys. It had a full service and MOT. I was very happy with the service I recieved. The car was fully cleaned inside and out and because I had a big service, they didn't charge me for the MOT test.
I would definately use them again.

I took my car in for a service with Northwood Hills Service Station and I was very impressed with the service I recieved.
I had recently had a free Health Check from Kwik fit that produced a list as long as my arm of 'urgent' work.
However, after these guys took a look, they told me most of the items didn't need replacing.
The car did need front pads and discs however and I was phoned with a full quote before they did anything.
I have recommended them to all my friends and family as I found them to be freindly and honest which is a rare thing in the motor trade nowadays!

I took my car to the Northwood Hills Service station for MOT. They found one coil spring fractured and I agreed to have this replaced. They told me that the cost is £60 for the spring coil and £50 for labour plus VAT. However without my authorisation they changed both rear suspension coil springs althought one was absolutely fine. Later they told me that they did that to balance the car better and the spring coils come only in pairs. Initially they told me they can get only one and that the cost was 60 pounds for one. For the pair the cost was 144 plus and on top of that i had to pay 20% VAT. This was only for parts. I would never agree to have both changed. I could have taken my car elsewhere. I don't recommned it to anyone.
