Brilliant and very friendly service today at Pinhoe Garage: they checked, diagnosed & fixed the AC fault on my 23 year old Saab very efficiently and without batting an eyelid. Very communicative and pro-actively told me about the fault and fix, tested the result and even moved the car so it was easy for me to exit the garage. Thank you! … I’ll be back :).

Been using Pinhoe Garage for 8 years. Recently needed MOT and booked it in. Usually have a service at the same time but due to shielding for so long had only driven 346 miles in a year Was advised didnt need a service so just had MOT which passed no problems Thought they were very honest with their advise and very pleased

I've been to the garage on 3 different occasions and all have been unsatisfactory. The 1st was a service, the bill included a rear windscreen wiper for my car that has no rear wiper! 2nd was a written quote for car airconditioning repairs only to be told, when the person who had quoted was absent at the time, that it couldn't be done for that price and I therefore had to pay more. Third but by no means least! I took a classic mini for an mot. It failed, fair enough. Only problem is that it was found to have 15 failure faults. One for tyres which I was told were illegal and yet a TYRE COMPANY stated they were fine. Indicators were not working and yet they were, as I tested them immediately after the test! In front of the owners. I was told the car would have to be STRIPPED to do certain jobs on it. The price they wanted for a bit of welding was pure extortion! Have since had mini re-tested at mini specialist and there were TWO FAILURES noted. Have since had the aforementioned mini mot and repaired for less than quoted for welding! We have 4 motor vehicles in our family and we certainly will not consider using this garage again and have made certain to tell all friends and family about the issues we have had.
