My family and I moved to Sidcup over ten years ago and I bumped into Paul at B.A.R. LTD when I needed some work carried out on my Saab. (Local SAAB franchise had just gone bankrupt) Since then Paul and the boys have taken good care of my two cars Saab & Cherokee together with all my family's as and when the kids past their tests. Ie; my wifes Hiyundi, 1st sons VW, 2nd sons BMW, daughters Corsa... All at extremely good rates and without any single problem whatsoever. In a nutshell, a real garage run by real people who know exactly what they are doing and whom really do care about what they do. A very rare thing nowadays. Highly recommended / PB Sidcup

I have to say that there are very few people whom you can trust. When i called Birkbeck garage it was a random call, i got their number through the internet. I spoke to Paul, i am local to them so he popped out to look at my car free of charge. I was very upset as the gearbox was playing up an the car was un drivable. Paul came round and was unsure of the situation himself but offered to take it into the garage to see waht was going on. I was expecting a huge bill as with a gearbox repair it is never going to end with a smile.However this amazing man was so honest and told me it was simply a case of changing some filters..... I had on that day been looking into taking £1000 for my car which in actual fact is worth £7000 as i had been told from other mechanics that its all its worth with the gearbox gone..... i could have believed them if i hadnt have called that number that day. Basically a big thank you to a really wonderful honest man. he really has made my Christmas and i would not hesitate to recomend him to everyone I know!! Thankyou Birbeck
