R S Dawe repaired my damaged Peugeot 607 and did an amazing job. This is the second time I have used this company. The quality was superb and the service was prompt. My Peugeot main dealer could not get anywhere near the RS Dawe price so not only was I pleased with the repair and spraying but also the fantastic value for money. I shan't be going back to my Peugoet main dealer ever again for body work.

In April 10, I booked my car for 2 days for bodywork repair at Dawes as a private job. When I went to collect it at the end of the 2 days, they had not started the work at all, nor had they previously advised me of this. I had no courtesy car, nor did they offer any coverage of inconvenience incurred to get to work (taxi fares).
The manager said this was a 'scheduling' problem (meaning they had forgotten and not booked in the job).
I was reasonable and said that had they advised me when I brought the car in and rebooked that would have been acceptable. The manager then became unpleasant, aggressive and verbally abusive.
I have since had the job done elsewhere for £200 cheaper than the Dawes quote. I found the service, attitude and price at Dawes very poor. I would advise customers to think twice before booking in work at Dawes.
