great reliable garage who you can trust!! John and his team always provide a great service with affordable prices, Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Always welcoming and never no trouble to fit me in, big or small problem.

We started using Schilward when we moved to Gt Leighs a couple of years ago. I have found them personable polite & very honest, they changed a headlight bulb for me and didn't charge & I always have both of our cars serviced there & any time we have a quick problem they fit us in. I would never go to anyone else - unless we move 500 miles away!!!

I have used Schilward motors since moving to the village of Great Leighs over 20 years ago. I tried other places but I won't go anywhere else now, they are honest and don't try to rip the customer off, the work is of an excellent standard and John and the boys are a great bunch.

Marvellous to see all the positive reviews. When I lived in the UK I used Schilwards for years and they were always a friendly bunch of people who are great at what they do - glad to hear the tradition continues. I shall book my Passat in for my next return visit. Long live the small independent garage that looks after it's customers!

Run by very honest and reliable people. We've used this garage for years and its hard to find businesses like this now. Good polite old fashioned service. No rip off prices, and a genuine will to help the customer. Just how it should be!

Great service, honest & trustworthy. A few years ago when there was a problem with contaminated petrol I took my car there. Other dealers used the opportunity to charge £100's of pounds to replace parts. The guys changed a £10 part (which they never charged for) and told me to come back if that didn't work. It did. I won't take my car anywhere else
