I recently purchased my first car on finance through Hyams Autos and i couldn,t be happier. They were kind , made sure they gave me all the information i needed , very helpful and a joy to by from. I had a good idea which car i wanted , and the sales people and boss at Hyams made the process very easy . 3 options in stock , all in very good condition and an option to choose one a week later. The Purchase went smoothly , and am very happy with the car .

The Ongoing problem with my Fiat Punto heater was finally sorted . I was a little frustrated that it took so long to get to the bottom of it but very grateful for the calm and polite service and quick turn around last Thursday.

Very friendly Garage. After finding the car on auto trader, we were able to view it on the Sunday. After taking the car for a test drive , we decided to purchase
the vehicle and were offered a mot and a service within the price. Very knowledgeable about the vehicle and felt very satisfied with the aftersales care being offered a 3 month warranty thank you.

I recently brought a used Honda Civic from Hyams Autos.After a few days , I realized there was a fault with the air conditioning.I was impressed by their determination to sort out the problem out.Eventually , they took the vehicle into the workshop for 2 days , lent me a courtesy car and replaced the complete air con system.

I will try to remain balanced. Prices fair, customer service initially was okay, vehicles appear good condition, genuine etc. However... DO NOT believe anything about their warranty on used vehicles - I had a serious fault (affected safety, was an MOT fail which they denied until I cited the regs) and they refused to fix under 'warranty' instead requesting £ hundreds from me. The fault was clearly there when purchased. They became uncontactable, unprofessional, aggressive, defensive and completely unreasonable to the point I had to involve a solicitor and the Motor Industry Federation. When they finally agreed to do the work, I was told my vehicle was not a priority and was an 'as and when' job (I expect because I was such an inconvenience to them, wanting a fully functional and safe car for my £8,000). They refused to provide prices for individual parts, refused to give any timescale whatsoever, refused to explain the extent of the work required, explaining they would have to try one fix after another until it was resolved (assuming they had a blank cheque from me for parts for this trial and error work!). 30 emails and dozens of phone calls later, I finally got my car back. This was over a month after I initially took it in.

This is a 'family run' business that needs to get into the 21st Century. I am definitely not a nuisance customer or serial complainer! I am a professional and very reasonable, these guys are, frankly, unbelievable! My advice: AVOID. Be warned.

I've also had problems with hyams autos I recently purchased a used vehicle from them. after 2 days the engine light came on. after they reluctantly agreed to repair it ,it's was taken in for a repair that should have taken no more than a week and has now been with them for over six weeks as they drag there feet. Please do not be fooled by there web page this is not a friendly family run business!!!!!!!

I spotted the car I wanted on the website.
As I was in the area I made an initial visit to check the car over.
I decided to return the next day with my family to make a decision.
However, when I went back online that evening to show the car to my family the price of the car had been increased by £1000.
The salesman had the cheek to tell me that he was lucky I hadn't put a deposit on the car the day previously!
Does that sound like an honest dealer?
