I've used Westmoor for the past 10 years. I find them fair and honest. If something is wrong with your car, they tell you before they fix it.
They have never "invented" problems at MOT in order to fleece you out of more dosh.
They can be competetive with their prices. I wanted my car's air-con gassing up. I rang several garages all over Newcastle who gave me a wide array of prices. Rang Westmoor who gave me the cheapest price.
The only time they were more expensive was when I asked then to price 4 new tyres. Kwik Fit came in cheaper because they had a "Buy 3 get on free" deal on at the time.
They also make an effort to remember your name and get to know your car.
