Peter Maddocks

I’ve been in the car industry for 25 years working for JLR and have had dozens of cars and in 1999 I was recommended to John/Peter Maddocks by a fellow landrover engineer.

I have used them for 20 years took all my Landrovers ( which John is an expert in) and his father too Peter who are without a shadow of doubt the best mechanics technicians you will ever find. And I’ve been to many many in my time. They both are honest, to the point and incredibly knowledgeable and the service is the finest I’ve ever had I’d go nowhere else. The prices beat other garages too.

I entrust my Land Rover every year to Johnathan for an Mot & service and I can't fault the work. Honest, reliable and very reasonably priced - not easy to find these days. Johnathan knows Land Rovers inside and out and I have total confidence in the work carried out. Can't recommend Maddocks Garage enough.

Cannot fault the workmanship, but i find that the younger one talks down to you. And yes he is a mind of information on landrovers. But i find him abrupt and obnoxious at times.And he talks to you as if you are an idiot.

I went for my clutch and when driving my gears wouldn't go in properly I took it back and they were very dismissive manners would be nice and that the customer is always right! Very rude will never recommend

What they don't know isn't worth knowing! Incredibly honest and genuine - very black and white - a rareity these days. Jonathan is the god of Landrovers and can build them with his eyes shut. A real wealth of knowledge and experience second to none. Affordable prices putting dealerships to shame!

Having used this garage for many years, I would recommend it to anyone who wants top class work by mechanics at the top of their game. Very reasonable pricing and a willingness to help in an emergency - the standard to aspire to.

Cant fault this garage, John his son is extremely knowledgable in Land Rovers,Very genuine people in this garage, If they say its been done then you can trust them to have done it.
I will now only use this garage for my cars.
