What a terrible experience,the car went in for its yearly MOT and service. Local garage close and handy i thought but that was about it !
The car failed the MOT on a few items two front springs and rear pads,yep that's fine I had them replaced at the garage but also ended up with advisories on all four tyres saying they were close to the legal limit on inside edge.
Now the tyres were brand new around a year ago I only done 3000 miles in the thing since then and the last mot was a clean sweep with no advisories what so ever,funnily enough I was never shown the two broken springs or warn brake pads either.
I also could not believe that the MOT tester had written and advisory saying he had to remove an air freshener from my rear view mirror(in black and white ffs) unbelievable!
Just when you think it couldn't be worse the service I had paid good money for the ace mechanic there couldn't remove a tyre valve cap on one of the tyres so the pressure was never tested and never thought to give me a call to ask what i wanted them to do ! Now this garage sells and fits tyres and exhausts if they can not get a valve cap.off it's a bit of a poor show I would say!! so I then had to take the car elsewhere to have it removed and a new Valve installed.
Lastly I picked the car up and my lovely white leather piping on the drivers side seat was covered in dirt/grease the floor mats were also covered in oily boot prints and the car was filthy dirty covered in brake dust etc.
Summing up,I would never use this garage again and recommend it to be avoided, absolutely disgraceful behaviour and clearly operate a get em in get em out quickly policy with a blatant disregard to anyone who actually looks after their car.
I will be sticking with the main dealer from now on and rather pay a premium than have this kind of shoddy service again and suggest giving this garage a wide berth .
