Tyre had blown out so needed a quick repair for my R reg 306, which is on it's last legs, so loathed to spend too much money. After ringing around abit found these guys, got it done on the spot. So a barely worn tyre with new valve (not a major brand) for £25 + VAT. Yet to drive any distance, but so far pleased with what I got.

When I called this co some time ago, they didn't have what I wanted in stock. When I asked them where else they might recommend, they refused to suggest a competitor! Not exactly customer-friendly, is it?
I called today, looking for a standard-size part-worn tyre. They quoted £30 for a Michelin. In Coventry, dealers charge £20-25, but, being pressed for time I went to Warwick. I shouldn't have: the tyre in question had been repaired, they charge extra for new valves AND they charged VAT on top. £36 for a part-worn, repaired 185/55/15 tyre!
My advice: go elsewhere
