Astwood Bank Garage

We rang up to check the car was still for sale as we were travelling quite a distance to see it. Chap said yes its for sale and we agreed to go up the following day. Whilst we were looking over the car presumably one of the owners of the garage turned up (didn't introduce himself) and asked if we were the ones coming up on the train. When we said no he just said "ah". Whilst we were having a look at the car he stated that the speedo didn't work and there were various scuffs, scratches and dents on it (it was a 55 reg). He was not willing to budge on price and said that the man coming up on the train said he would buy it unseen and had the cash. The owner of the garage had also been using the car as his own and his stuff was in the boot. When I made a comment as to the overall condition of the car, he said he would expect a woman to say something like that!All in all it was not a very positive experience and we wouldn't bother going back.

Very disappointed with after sales service. Unhelpfull, they do not return your calls, once they have your money thats the end of it. Very pleasant at point of sale but not interested after the sale has been made.
