ŠKODA announces the Kamiq

The Kamiq will join the line-up sitting below the Kodiaq and Karoq with a starting price of £17,700.

Alongside the Scala this is ŠKODA's second new model out in 2019. As a brand new model the Kamiq obviously gets the latest design and tech, including the new LED light system.

It will be available in four trim levels, S, SE, SE L and Monte Carlo. Obviously as you move up the trim level the more standard spec you get, the base level car will come with:

• 16 inch alloys
• LED lights
• Air con
• Swing Infotainment system (6.5inch touchscreen, DAB and e-Call)

There will be four engines to choose from, 3 petrol and, not surprisingly, only 1 diesel. The engines will develop between 95 and 150PS and all can be paired with the excellent DSG gearbox.
