Silverstone auctions have released details of a selection of celebrity-owned cars that will be up for auction at the Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire on the 21st September 2019.

First up, two right-hand drive 1972 Ferrari Daytonas, one previously owned by music royalty Sir Elton John, the other by LeMans racer Tommy Dixon, this one also comes with a Ferrari Classiche certificate. Both cars are UK supplied right-hand drive examples, two of only 158 cars. The cars are expected to make £400,000+ with the Classiche example pushing over £500,000.

Next up, a 1994 Porsche 964 Speedster once owned by racing driver Dario Franchitti. One of only 469 cars sent to the USA and still having under 20,000 miles on the clock this is a rare 911 that is expected to fetch up to £150,000.

The final notable celebrity car comes from the collection of Jay Kay, if you don't know who he is he's a musician from the 90s with great taste in cars. He's selling off a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4, one of only 505 produced it's expected to fetch up to £250,000.

If you fancy getting a glimpse of these cars and dreaming of being able to bid on them you can head to the venue on Friday 20th September for the lot preview event.
