2006 Vauxhall Zafira Problems

hi i have a zafira which has to vents at front windscreen that dont blow air[if they are heater vents]so i have no way of clearing mist off of winscreen as other vents dont point to windscreen .they have never worked since i purchased car...

when car is left for 3/4 hours and i try to start it i have to keep trying it for 10/15 attempts before it starts.have just had new cim unit fitted by local v/hall dealer and they say they cannot find any fault

dashboard is rubbing and grinding at front esp near the heating vents, ok when i push against dash tho. Is there any screws fixings i could check to see if anything is loose?

Annoying hell out of me - dashboard plastic rattles/rubs making a din! Seems trivial but its getting to me. Looked for a screw underneath thinking its loose but nothing and everything seems secure. Any ideas folks?
