Can see if an egr valve is working by takeing it off the car and looking at it

Both key fobs are not working properly. Have to press badge end of fob hard to unlock and start car (push button start). Also when someone opens door whilst engine on, the loss of signal light/alarm sounds. Any ideas?

the hazzard light switch is permanantly lit up in the car and the hazzard lights randomly start flashing on there own during the day.
