Vauxhall Vectra Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres Problems

Battery light came on, then after a few minutes traction control light came on, then the power steering light came on and the power steering went. Any ideas, what the problem is? Thank you

When the brake pedal is pressed the servo moves, failed on mot, thought problem was a crack in the bulkhead, but the welder states the bulkhead is ok.

When slowing down through around 18 mph there is a thump as if brakes applied for split second in auto & semi auto. Seems to be in or going into 2nd gear, & clears up after about 10 minutes running from cold.

I have an intermittent knocking in the engine, It dissappears when cluch is pressed. Can anyone explain this problem.
