1996 Rover 200 Problems

Car was parked up last night working fine, started it this morning, the turbo is not working and the engine management light comes on and off, as said was fine when parked up, any ideas?

i have changed the battery and starter motor so that rules them both out the car just takes all the power out of the battery! i had an oil leak by the alternator and im wondering if maybe this has broke the alternator as iv said iv changed ...
