2003 Peugeot 307 Problems

When switching on the key the transmission panel shows P ( Park ) only,when shifting to N-R-D does not appear on the screen.There is no movement. What could be the problem please assist

interior lights front and back flash on and off while driving. i switch on then off to stop it, but it starts again.

I have got economy mode active coming up on my screen, so the car will not start.
