Mazda 323 Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights Problems

Hello :) Engine management light comes on, no flashing, engine is happy and all oils checked.. Attached my ODB11 Scan Tool to the diag port and received error code 001 general electrical fault... Reset fuses and removed battery lead (Black)...

opened passenger door with key and alarm started off. cannot stop it. Any ideas?
