To start the car you have to rev it. If you take your foot off the gas the engine dies. Please help. I've had 3 mechanics look at it now and still the problem is the same. The car is parked outside my house on a slight hill.

My oil pressure light has come on. I want to open the engine lid so I can add some oil. Pulling on the link to open the lid has no effect. The cable could have broken or the lid has jammed. What can I do to gain access? Thanks Paul
