Hi all My daughters escort has a very eratic idle speed. On the odd ocassion it has also stalled when changing down gears.Very dangerous as you loose brakes and steering. Thanks.

i think cat might have failed as i had lots of rattleing and loss of power , can i just smash the insides out and put it back on ? Could it be anything other than cat ? Clutch is ok ? Will it defo fail mot ?, will it work same as decat pipe...

from cold wen i turn the engine there is a high revving sound..it seems ok once i ave got going...also every time i turn engine on.wen warm...it still revs up but only for 6 seconds then settles down..drives ok..
