Car starts fine in park but try selecting gear engine cuts out sometimes amber engine light comes one Citroen mechanic scanned 5 faults turned out none ot them , another garage engine amber light out showed no faults .

my clutch pedal is really high ,I only have to depress the pedal about an inch and the clutch disengages iwondered if this is a sign that the clutch is on its way out as having a bit of trouble getting 1 st into 2nd gear any advice welcome ...

having trouble engaging 2nd gear,all other gears r no problem through the whole range.oil is ok gear linkage seems ok though wouldn't know if it was not (what to look for)mechanic said about clutch clearance but surely that would affect all...

i am having trouble engaging all gears ,they do go in but it is a bit notchy ,wondered if anyone has a solution or knows what is up with the clutch,,many thanks

I cannot separate the gearbox from the engine because its semms to be "hanging" on something inside. Any idea what it could be ?

transmission is fine 1-4 cant get 5 or reverse clutch is fine plenty of bite left.whirring noise when take foot off accelerator smooth as hell with foot down.
