hi acidman that light is for the electonically controlled engine cooling their might be a problem with the cooling system or the cooling for the air con you can still drive hope this helps

Solution 2

Suggested Solution

From owners manual , says ''control indicator lights up when ignition is switched on. goes out shortly after engine starts'', it goes on to say ''if it lights up when engine is running a fault has occurred in the engine cooling syatem or the cooling circuit for the air conditioning. Electronics switch to emergency running programme. driving may be continued. check coolant level'' Better to get it scanned to see what fault is , especially if going on holiday . Hope this helps.
