Solution 1

Suggested Solution

It could be the lambda sensor clogged with carbon or broken, it might think the fuel mixture is too rich and is not allowing enough fuel through.

Solution 2

Suggested Solution

Not to uncommon for high pressure pump to have failed due to metal swarfe running round the fuel system, means replacing everything, very expensive. but check for air leaks, boost presure sensor and mass air flow sensor.

Solution 3

Suggested Solution

I had this problem, had something to do with a sensor around the fuel tank/cap.

Best thing take it to a main dealer to run the diagnostics

I had mine all sorted and all ok (touch wood!)
