Peugeot 307 electric windows working sporadically

The Problem
sometimes when the window is down it won't go up at all then it will go in jerks sometimes when I press up the window goes down

window winder could be broke. ok maybe switch is faulty

could be fault with door ecu and maybe the switch

the problem is on both windows and all the switches so I don't think its the switches

Suggested Solution
Open bonnet then make sure car is unlocked .leave for fifteen mins then disconnect battery.leave disconnected for while. Reconnect battery then turn lights on then off.Hold window switch buttons for windows to go down then same again for up.Make sure you dont have any thing switched on for fifteen mins before disconnecting battery.
