The Problem:

My 55 plate laguna had 2 credit card type key fobs when i got it , after a while one packed up working so i have been using the second one, now this one is playing up and will not unlock the car unless you are right next to it and then only sometimes. I have replaced the battery. Is there a easy fix or do i have to buy new key fobbs, also in the key fobb there is a key but i cannot find where to put this to unlock the car, can you advise . Dave

Solution 1

Suggested Solution

on the drivers or passenger door where the handle is there is usually a piece of trim that can be removed to gain access to a key barrell, you will have to check your car, with regards to the key/remote not working if you have replaced the battery then you really need to get it checked out by a renault specialist
