The Problem
This all started with the Speedo not working, along with this the ABS warning light came on. When i looked under the bonnet i noticed that the Battery was bubbling. The Battery went flat over night. I put a new Battery on and the same thing happened. Any ideas please ?

Suggested Solution
probably an alternator fault replace the battery first as if the old one has overcharged it may well be gassing and can explode if you try to connect jump leads then run the car and test the battery voltage which should be between 13.5 to 14.5 volts if its much more or less then it is probably alternator gone also check the wiring to it
