The Problem:

When I go out to start my car in the morning, it starts but then cuts out. Then when I try to restart it won't turn over and eventually the battery becomes drained and it needs to be charged.

I have been to a garage and have been told that the battery is fine and there is nothing wrong in the engine.

The engine diagnostics light has come on and I have had the test done on it, but it has come back that there are no problems.

It appears that there is air getting into the fuel line and that could be the cause of it, but I have took it to a garage and there are no leaks in the fuel line that can be detected.

Does anyone know anyway that I can get the air out of here or even how to detect how the air is getting in

Suggested Solution

The air intake is under the front bumper on a 206 (not a very well thought out design) and i have known a few 206's to have had them fill with puddle water and other debris. Maybe it is a blockage up the intake somewhere, it would be a cheap solution.

1st I woud like to thank for all the help that I have received,

I have tried the solution that I had received, but the car still has problems.

I have been told that the alternator maybe faulty and that I could test it by using a Multimeter?

Can someone give me an idea as to where abouts in the engine this is located as i am unsure
