The Problem:

The coolant level too low alert keep coming up, I need to refill it every one or 2 weeks. And the amount of water is about a cup. and can't see any drops and leaking on the ground. Any comments on this issue? Thanks

Solution 1

Suggested Solution

Possible head gasket. Need to get the car pressure tested.

Solution 2

Suggested Solution

A pressure test on cooling system should show up any external leaks .If still nothing showing , a block test will confirm or not whether you have head / gasket problems .Could also first check coolant filler cap not faulty .Easiest and cheapest to replace .

Solution 3

Suggested Solution

check for water pump leaks, or run it for longer period and keep an eye on the water temperature gauge, if it starts to overheat, then it's loosing too much water and could point to the head gasket
