Have owned car from new and have 19,000 miles on the clock Returned from shopping trip with car running fine, went to collect grandaughter a couple of hours later and noticed that steering was getting heavier then noticed STOP sign illuminated on dash and "steering fault" showing. Also clutch pedal is at the top of its travel which I dont understand as when working and covering huge mileages ran into this problem after 100,000 miles plus
Is it common to have steering failure with this model after so few miles? and I get the feeling it will be expensive! anyone any ideas just how expensive?

Suggested Solution

Garage has advised me that the steering problem is due to a computer fault and the clutch is needing cable adjuustment.
I will advise cost of repair when advised!
