Bought the Citroen last week, drove it home at 100 kph no problems .
next day decided to bring her on the autobahn and got her up to 153 kph and she sat down on power and error messages sprang up about engine management (in german). at the same time the low petrol message came on .

went home got my diagnostics out and got 3 messages 2 saying misfire on cylinder 2 and 1 saying misfire possible because of low fuel.

so step 1 i filled up the fuel. still no power still cylinder 2 misfire.
step 2, replaced with new all the plugs and found 1 plug was black.

looking for next step advice, thank you.

Usual suspect on these is the coil pack if it's a petrol engine,
which you didn't state.
Or if diesel possibly an injector fault.

replaced with new coil pack. (120€)

still getting misfire. i think the next step is to switch around the injector cables and see if the problem switches to a different cylinder.

i wont do this until someone says its an option

well switching the wires is a bad idea but moving the injectors isn't.
Swap injector #3 with #2 clear codes and run it.
Retest it to see if the fault code has moved cylinders.
if it has you have a faulty injector.

ok i was away for a day,

came back and managed to test the injectors all are testing ok with an ohms tester set to 200 all are testing at 11.5/8

im wondering how to get the damn things out so i can switch them around they are on a rail below what looks like part of the air box

https://imgur.com/gallery/t523FLD

this is the image the top of the piture has the airbox bit thats covering the injectors, i cant find any images online or blow up diagrams showing bolts and such. later ill have access to a ramp so i can get under and behind the engine.

i cant wait till i complete this so i can update and show what was wrong and how it was fixed haha
