Unless it has FULL AND COMPETE service history I would not touch it.
Oil contamination is the problem with these engines.
and once contaminated with carbon the oil feed to the turbo suffers killing the turbo,
and it's not just a case of fitting a new turbo.
a complete engine stripdown and clean of all components "MIGHT" make it saveable,
but I stress might.
If you google this engine fitted to Ford,/Peug/Citroen on various forums you'll see the problems owners are experiencing.
