Have taken my vehicle to southwick motors a few times for m.o.t,had a clutch cable fitted last year which after 2 days went again so went back and Southwick motors fitted another new one. Needed near side and off side drive shaft joints for my car and was told it would be 150 pounds supplied and fitted inc vat,took car to their garage,got a ph call half way through the day saying it would now be 220 pound and fobbed us off that something else needed doing. When we received the receipt we have been charged 223.58 pounds just for 2 drive shaft joints when we were told it.ll cost 150 pound.I phoned the garage and asked why and got told the 150 pound quoted was to fit just 1 joint.Ive since rung peugeot and if i had gone there it wouldve cost 141 pounds for both sides to be supplied,fitted inc vat.How can southwick motors justify being more expensive than a main dealer and also quoting a price and then upping it considerably,Would not take my vehicle to this garage again Comment added Fri 04 Feb 2011 at 15:43:20 [respond] |
